Biotechnology brings together biological science and technology to develop useful products, processes, and solutions for health, agriculture, food, industry, and the environment. Students study areas such as molecular biology, genetics, cell biology, microbiology, and biotechnology techniques.
Practical laboratory learning helps students understand how biological knowledge can be translated into real applications. The program develops scientific reasoning, laboratory discipline, research awareness, and technical skills relevant to biotechnology laboratories, pharmaceutical and food industries, agricultural applications, research organizations, and further study.
