Bioinformatics

Introduction

Bioinformatics combines biology, computer science, mathematics, and statistics to make sense of complex biological information. Students learn about molecular biology and genomics alongside programming, data analysis, computational methods, and the tools used to study biological datasets.

The program develops the ability to move between biological questions and computational solutions. Students learn to organize, analyze, interpret, and communicate biological data, creating a foundation for work in genomics, computational biology, pharmaceutical research, healthcare data, biotechnology, and academic research.

Our Mission

To develop interdisciplinary graduates who can combine biological understanding with computational and analytical skills to solve modern problems involving biological data.

Our Vision

To position Chenab University as a growing center for interdisciplinary scientific education, preparing graduates to participate in the expanding fields of genomics, computational biology, biotechnology, and data-driven life sciences.
